The game was supposed to be released back then, but I abandoned it for like very long because I got caught up with other games and projects like Dimensions, Floors and some other RPG (That I had made but never released)... My lovely Bianca encouraged me to start working on Inside again and so I did! And I am very glad that I did!
I literally released the new trailer today! Its like 50 seconds but I did not want to spoil anything so yeah...
I have changed my mind... I believe everyone should have access to the cheats to have fun with the game... I am making the cheats free now so that everyone can play around with them!
I gotta say this game has really blown me away, the amount of stuff to unpack with this game is insane given that its free. 1st off I really liked the music and the intro cinematic, and 2nd that things that chased me can screw right off. I can't wait to make a part two to my video it was really a blast with the cheat codes as well!
I really enjoyed this game. I loves this style of horror game and it made me feel super tense the entire time. I found the layout of the house to be a little bit confusing at first but I eventually remembered it. Good Job!.
A genuinely terrifying game, put me in such a false sense of security then BAM! I'm being chased down in the twisted maze corridors! The puzzle isn't too challenging and the array of endings make this game perfect! Please check my reaction below:

my hyperx cloud's I fixed them though. The whole earphone snapped off. The monster going around the corner that fast and my volume turned up so loud got me. My initial reaction was to get the headset off my head. I accidently threw them hard on my table lol
I found the game really interesting and the story was interesting as well. I just wish the EMF was a bit more effective at detecting the monster. But besides that, nice game.
I had a great idea! I just finished adding cheats into the game! There are 13 cheats and they include things like making yourself invisible toward the monster, giving yourself flatulence and farting which the monster hears. It also gives the feature to enable no clipping which is epic for speed runs!
But there is some bad news... I spent a lot of time on this game and I have no way of monetizing it other than with donations which I do receive though and I do not want anyone to miss out on this great game that I created so I will never ask money for the game, the cheats will cost $2 right here on itch.io and it's basically my way of rewarding the people that donated to me! But if you want it, you can also donate $2 or more and it will be available for you to download.
Keep an eye out for the game's version to change to v2.1.0 and for the Inside Cheats.txt file to show under the download button which then means that the cheats have been released!
I loved this game, I'm happy Bianca convinced you to continue it, because so many people would have missed out on a simple, but creepy game. I look forward to seeing more games you make. This is an extremely well made game. While it took me a very long time to beat, I enjoyed cracking the in-depth mystery behind this place. Perfectly paced, and very fair in the antagonist's appearances and how you can get away from him. Extremely frightening. And the save function was REALLY COOL! It actually felt like a part of building the strategy in this game, rather than just being a simple checkpoint system. I loved this game!
The updates are finished now. I will only be fixing bugs from now on if there appear to be any since I got rid of all bugs that I am aware of in the previous update. You can play it now!
Hey everyone it's update time again... I just finished fixing and polishing about 12 bugs that affected the experience! The game is much better now and is currently building. Expect Inside 2.0.0 to be available for download on this page within about 2 - 3 hours.
1. The game is scary, I don't know what's it about that monster but it's so terrifying! Well done! I think the way it moved wass very creepy! I was also scared that it might be able to detect me under tables, but thankfully it could not!
2. I loved the puzzle. It's so cool to fo through rooms and looking for stuff while literally feeling the monster creeping in from the back!
3. I also loved how different all the endings are! I think that's awesome! I replayed it 4 times, spend like 2 hours and it was worth it!
Disadvantages:
1. When the monster appears the body is still lying in the room when the player first heard the gunshot. I think it supposed to be the same body, right? So, you might want to make it disappear from the room.
2. I didn't see the tutorial about pressing Q to get the holy water out. Was it anywhere in the game? If yes - me dumb dumb, if not - than that's not very nice! Please, add it somewhere, I genuinely though that my game was bugged!
3. I also managed to break the game somehow. Check out the vid to see the problem. Somewhere near the start my crouch speed changed to my walking speed and vice versa. After I died it fixed itself but still, maybe you'll fix that)
4. I think that when the clock stroke, the monster should have come investigate the sound immediately. And it didn't come at all. It's just... The sound was definitely louder than main character coughing.
Overall:
I think the game is great! It was very involving and I enjoyed playing it a lot. I even went through all endings! Also, the game scared me a couple of times which means that it's a good horror game! I'll rate it 5/5 though there are still places that need to be polished.
That's awesome! Yes I have noticed the problem with the body appearing... I am still trying to figure out why this happens and the sneaking thing is actually a feature that if you sneak a lot it will actually be easier to sneak and harder to walk normally. When you equip the holy water, there is a message on the screen that says "Holy Water (Q)"... but you are not the first person who have missed this so that's fine. The monster does investigate the clock at random and I do not want to make it less random because it's more predictable then and less scary!
You scared the crap out of me when you put the black box on the "not" in "You speaking does not impact the game"... Damn I was like how the hell does that glitch out and I thought man here comes a whole day trying to solve that XD
This game was so fun!! I loved the "puzzle" aspect of the game where you have to go around without an objective guiding you and it's so great to see a horror that has multiple endings :D I got the exorcist ending and if you would like to check it out!
Yeah somewhere in the future! I have been considering adding a bunch more endings to Inside and releasing it as another edition of Inside for about $1... but yeah I will see what the future brings!

Truly an amazing game. The little guy gets stuck easily but other than that it was superb. I was on edge the entire time.
